Jessica's Story
Well now, I went to St. Augustine High School my Freshmen year. Then they built Pedro Menendez and I attended there until I graduated in 2003. I started working for TGI Fridays in 2002. I worked as a hostess for about 2 years, then served for a short time, became a dishwasher then moved up to cook where I learned all 4 stations in the kitchen.
Good good times. Then recently there was a fire and the franchise is going bankrupt so they closed down, WOO HOO! (management sucked!!!). So In April I was working as a cook at Fridays and I applied as a cook at Hooters (I wanted an easy cooking job so I could open up my massage business). I'm now the Assistant Kitchen Manager at Hooters. I picked up drumming about 5 months ago. I don't have a band yet, but I do sit in on random bands and play a few songs. Im also now a Licensed Massage Therapist and I work for myself.
I met someone while I was working at Fridays, all was good in the begining but eventually fell though. I hear he's doing heroin now. When I signed up to be in the Hooters bikini contest (last minute) a guy kept eye-balling me. I was with a friend of mine, Jay, who he assumed was my boyfriend so we didn't do much talking. But ever since that day the eye-baller never left me alone, even drove me crazy (in an annoying sort of way) After gettint out of a heckful relationship.. another boyfriend wasn't in my to-do list!! But he kept on and on and on! 2 months later I realized what a great guy he was and that I might have feelings for him, I mean how many guys would actually WAIT around for you? Another month after that we offically started dating. And now, I'm so inlove with him. He's even taken me to get That finger sized.
If you knew me in high school I was pretty quiet, an artist and animal lover. Well I got louder, but I havn't been able to do much art, and as for animals I own a cat (Nikki), Rabbit (Fiver), Skunk (Winston), and a beta fish (Mittens). My chickens that I used to have grew old and passed on. I also had 2 white and tan rats (Skylar and Mavi...Expand for more
s), 2 Gerbils who multiplied like crazy (Mathius and Shoobie) But that was a few years ago so they got old and passed, as for the baby gerbils, I gave them to a good home. I had to put my dog (Breezy) to sleep. I suspect the neighbors poisoned her (because she wouldn't stop barking at them because they would fish over our fence and try to catch our cat fish in the pond). The vets couldn't figure out what was wrong with her and she was suffering. My skunk, Winston, is awesome. I've had him since he was only a few weeks old. Now hes 3 years old. We go a lot of places together, downtown, the beach, to work (not INTO work but we sit on the patio and eat seaweed salads from Yamatos).
But, back to Highschool. St. Augustine High was my FAVORITE. I wish I would have stayed! But Pedro did have it's ups. To be honest what kinda got me to go to Pedro was Steven Dirlam. I had the biggest crush on him since middle school. We dated for a year or 2 but then it was just better to split up. He's changed a lot. I remember old rock music steven, now he's redneck steven Haha. We talk every now and then.
I took psychology with Mr. Fecteu. Awesome guy. He was definaly one of my favorite teachers! Oh and Mr. Herx, who I used to see every now and then when I worked as a hostess for Caps on the Water. I remember when Andrew Carre and I played in the sprinklers at SAHS. They called the police on us, so we hid in the band room, haha. Good times. I actually miss high school. I barely get to hang out with friends anymore. But its so wierd to see people I did go to school with. We're all really growing up now, Getting married, having kids (not in that order apparently, Hahaha)! I have no children and I havn't been married. But my boyfriend, Manny, and I are getting very very serious. I think he'll pop the question within the next few months. We agreed that we wouldn't move intogether until we were engaged, and he's already asking me to look through the papers with him to find a place I like. Well thats my story. Thanks for reading!
