Laurie's Story

Hello Well, real quick my family moved away from Monmouth to Texas then got flooded out and moved to Richmond Maine. I graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington and became a single mom shortly thereafter. But like all things the silver lining was I met my wonderful husband three years later while I was teaching at Cony High School. We married and moved to Portland then when our daughter was 3 we moved to Houston, Texas. I am still ...Expand for more
a high school chemistry and physics teacher and my husband is a Safety Rep. in Australia. Our son is 23 and has given us two grandchildren; a 2 1/2 year old girl Dakota and a year old boy Jonathan Junior. Our daughter will graduate from high school this May and will attend Harrington College in Chicago or hopefully Texas Tech. Of course her brother wants her to go to his former college Texas A&M. For being quick this is really long. SORRY! :)
