Becky's Story
Well, I didn't do much after high school until my son went to school. When he went to school, I went back to Parkland and got my associates degree as a microcomputer specialist. I graduated in 1997 and went to work for a company that sold telephones to hotels...Expand for more
and motels. I worked there for 3 yrs and then got a job as a records clerk at the Champaign County Sheriff's Office. In 2005, I took the test for correctional officer and was hired as a correctional officer in January 2006. I have been doing that ever since.
