Lise's Story

Hello to everyone. After high school I travelled on the Canada World Youth Exchanged and went overseas for 3 months of time and my counterpart came here for a period of thrree months. Once I completed that I took social work as I saw the injustices in India and I wanted to help make our world a better one. I attended Blue Quills First Nations College and achieved a diploma in Social Work.... worked for several years and decided to complete my Bachelors Degree through University of Victoria. wn well being and what I was meant to be doing for my own well being.. I have two wonderful sons 17 and 18 years of age and am a single mom.Soon my sons will graduate and I am so proud of them. We have lived through difficult moments however coninuted to maintain the closeness of family. I truly am enjoying my work as I am a community development workerin the area of working with Aboriginal people of Edmonton.. I feel blessed as I have travelled across Canada, several western states and been overseas 2 times. I hope you all a great day and an awesome time in reconnecting with classmates from High School.
