What's YOUR story, morning glory?
So after H.S., we moved to Assonet and i decided to take my Stepfathers name, so "ala' peanutbutter sandwiches"- i am now know by Skelly...and to make things more confusing, John Taylor is my stepbrother......
So, after never attending any of my High school reunions, i ended up here....ohh' well, disembodied space isn't so bad.....
after trying to find myself through the trials and tribulations of higher education, all i got to show for it was an MFA and a life time of servitude to
Sallie Mae....
the best thing that ever happend to me, after my wife gave in and decided to put up with me for the rest of our lives, is my daughter Maggie.....7/5/2005
Becoming a parent in mid-life, although at times stressful, has been the best thing that has happened to me,thus far.....
it has made me realize, the struggle that all of our parents have gone through to ensure our pro...Expand for more
sperity and safety during our maturation..
their undying commitment of love, faith and understanding......i never truly knew what life could be, until i became a parent.....
i have nothing but respect and thankfulness for all the parents of my friends ....who shuffled us in endless car rides, supplied us a never-ending supply of high fructose corn syrup and riboflavin and turned their eagle eyes away from the slowly draining liquor cabinet.....
the world has changed so much, since we were teenangers, and the fear i have about the future, must echo the fear are parents had about us....
but it is the strength of character that our parents had, that i look to -for strength, when i just bascically, don't know what to do....these kids don't come with any instructions.........
I wish all of my retro -80's friends well, and hope to catch up with some of you, someday, someway...........
