Peggy's Story
Here's my story and I'm stickin' to it. I went to St. Vincent after high school much to my disagreement with my parents. I worked at Subway to help pay for it. After attending St. Dracula for 2.5 years I decided I still wasn't sure what I wanted to do so I withdrew. I worked at Toyota after that and I have to tell you, even though I had a ton of fun working there; the car business is truly corrupt. I finally landed what I'll refer to as my "real" job at Sony. I was a production auditor for two years (truly the best job ever) and then I worked in engineering for two years writing the instructions for production on how to build the different models of televisions. I kept our technicians employed. Then I worked in the Foreign Trades department until I resigned. That was a great job in one aspect; I was able to travel all over to places I would have otherwise probably...Expand for more
never gone, other than that is sucked. I worked with the most miserably depressed woman you could possibly imagine. If the day was the worst day ever, she could make it even worse. I'm half attempted to write a book about my experience at Sony. It would either be an extremey humorous book or a real eye opener for what really goes on inside the offices of a large corporation. My husband owns and operates Bridge Dairy and with him working full time plus...I couldn't travel and leave him responsible for Nicole. So now I'm a stay at home Mom trying to keep a 130 year old house clean and tidy. We're trying to keep as many of the old features of the house as we renovate; however, I can't wait to see the 1940's kitchen go! Nicole is almost two and she loves the calves and our dog Max. I have no regrets. I hope everyone else is as happy as I am because we all deserve it.
