It has been a long, beautiful, and sometimes treacherous road in the eight years since graduation from high school. As I believe it is for all of us. Self discovery is never easy! I went to Appalachian State University my freshman year where I experienced the educational advantages and intimate friendships of a lifetime. There is something magical about your freshman year in college and it will always stand out to me as one of the most important parts of my life. After this vital experience, God brought me home to rest and think about what I wanted in life. I transfered to USC, where I majored in Psychology, a subject that never ceases fascinates me. At USC I was given the chance to participate in an overseas trip where I studied in Italy for 5 weeks while traveling to Venice, Florance, Rome, Urbino, Capri, Pompeii, and other smaller cities.
