Chris's Story

Thats me overseas on the Island of Guam in front of the Hard Rock. I just retired out of the Navy After 20 years of service. I am currently a Carpenter Instructor on a Navy Base in Mississippi and love it. The people are great here. I have been all over the globe to some places I enjoyed being at, and some places I hope that I never have to see again, (Rota Spain, Sigonella Sicily, Morocco Africa, Guam, Philippines, Palau, Bosnia, Hungary, Iraq, Kuwait, Okinawa Japan). This is great to be able to make connections with those lost in the past. Send me a note. I have a big interest in computers and am currently in an online degree program "Computer Maintenance Technology". I also find a genuine interest in the study of religion. I really enjoy media editing. I love what I can do with a computer. Politics. Of course we always want the President in office that holds our views. I don't think you want to hear what I would like to say about our congress, and a few other issues. I do not necessarily agree with the "Bailouts". I would rather the corporations file for bankru...Expand for more
ptcy, and then let the government help them out. Then put the corporation executives in jail for cooking the books. There is no accountability in the leadership. Hold them accountable. Put them in jail for Christ' sakes! I think the biggest thing that would surprise people from high school is that I joined the Military. I was mostly a loner. Somewhat of an Introvert if you will. That has changed a great deal. Now I am retired, and an Instructor. I'm somewhat of a shoot from the hip kind of person, and a straight shooter. I haven't totally forgotten my wild side, and I love to reminisce about the way things were. I love playing my guitar and listening to music and singing with friends. Ain't it funny how you remember... If I had one thing to do over again. Wow, I'm not sure that I would change to much. God has been good to me. I think everyone wishes that they could turn back the clock and change mistakes that we have made. That is what gives us character. I probably would not have let "the one" get away. The weirdest job I ever had was being a Mortician.
