Christine's Story

Where have I been? I married after highschool. Vietnam was hot and my husband was in the Marines. We were on the west coast and then the east coast. Settled in Keokuk and moved to Burlington and raised 3 girls. On our 36 wedding anniversary we signed our divorce papers. (He didn't want to married any longer) Very difficult time. heart attack. But, I met my present husband online and we live on a farm near Primrose. Loving it. We're both retired. He from Case plant in Burlington and myself from Winegards also in Burlington. I run a Farmers Market in the summer in Donnellson. I see some of my friends from highschool. Don't make any money, but that's okay. It's fun to visit with everyone.
