Holly's Story
I think most people would be surprised by the fact that I am incredibly strict. I don't allow cable, because I don't want my kids to see most of what is on there. I don't allow them to have a Myspace- my computer has lots of parental blockers. My kids cannot curse...they have eaten soap over curse words before. (I'm sure they probably say these words, I'm not naive, but they aren't allowed in my house). They can tell you the taste difference between Ivory Soap, Dove, Lever 2000, Irish Spring, etc. I'm not so picky about looks (my oldest has had hair every color and five facial piercings), but I am picky about morals, ethics, etc. I have told my kids before, that if they are ever arrested, don't bother to call me....they are safer in jail. I believe in self respect and self esteem. I have never been a beauty queen (nor do I expect to become one), but I like myself, and am prou...Expand for more
d of who I have become. I go to church (non-denom Christian Church), but haven't been able to kick the smoking habit yet. I still like beer, but in moderation (okay...whatever....I still like beer). Even though I never thought it would happen, I am now the parent telling my kids to turn the music down and get off the phone. I am tired of taking my kids to concerts, and I still HATE to shop. Oh...I also still like to talk.....and since I am paying for the ability to use this site, I figure I can say as much as I want. (No one can interrupt me on here!!!!) Those of you who knew me know that Garrett and Corey are my brothers. Both are doing well. Garrett has 3 kids and has been with Christal Lewis Vance forever. My youngest brother is at the University of North Texas working on his bachelor's degree. I talk to both of them very often. Now, I'm even tired of hearing myself.
