Meg's Story
for some one who could not shake the dust of Chestertown off my feet too fast after graduation, I bought a House in Millington Last August (2009).
It is on the Chester River. Half of my backyard is wetlands. I am having fun digging in the dirt and putting in a butterfly garden and wildflower garden. Soon I will tackle the back yard to put in native plants. Right now it is a skunk cabbage patch.
I do have a television and do not miss it. My book shleves are bursting with unread books.
I love the peace and quiet. Watching the river flow is very soothing . I need a...Expand for more
respite after caring for 2 disabled siblings. Both have died.
Also my husband has Asperger's syndrome, which is an Autism spetrum disorder. Which is very stressfull to live with. In Febuary I traveled to Coventry ,England to attend a workshop for women in relationships with men with Aspergers. For the first time I met women having the same experiences.
Unfortunately THE expert is England, the next best is in Australia. Fortunatly I have the financial resources to travel to England. I would like to set up a support network for women whose partners have Asbergers.
