Cathy's Story
Hi, I`m 48 years old. I am the proud mom of 3 awesome kids. I have 3 beautiful grandchildren ( all boys ) who are the most beautiful babies on the planet. I only get to see one of my grandsons, but he truly makes up for not getting to spend time with the other 2. He is the most beautiful baby boy you could ever lay your eyes on. He is a sweetheart, just like his mommy and daddy. I love the outdoors, especially at night. I love thunderstorms. I actually get excited when we get severe thunderstorm warnings. I am a nature fanatic, especially when it comes to the moon and stars. I could lay back and stare at the night sky for hours. I think there`s something powerful about the moon. It puts off so much energy, even wild animals can feel it. ( Thats why I`m called Moonbaby ). I`m very into the paranormal and what goes on around us that most people aren`t even aware of. I`ve been told I am Psychic. I think I am to a certain extent. I can feel things that are going to happen and they usually do. I was born and raised catholic but I am very interested in the Wiccan religion. I have been reading alot on it and it is awesome. I live with my 16 year old son who is so awesome, I love every minute I get to spend with him. He is my rock. Whenever I am down and depressed, Sam can always find a way to bring me out of it. He is so funny and witty you can`t help but feel better when he is around. My son Jon is my inspiration. He has been through so much in his 23 years and he is so strong and full of life. He really lives life to its fullest. He is a wonderful dad and I am so proud of him. The time I get to spend with him "just talking" is priceless. I enjoy every minute with him. I am a huge Steeler fan. I don`t miss a game for any reason. Sometimes I get so fired up, I have to take a nerve pill to calm down. I swear I almost have a heart attack sometimes just watching them play. They scare the hell out of you at times. I am also a Godsmack fanatic ( as if you couldn`t tell ). I went to their first concert in 1995 and I have been hooked ever since. I see them every chance I get. I love music. I can`t imagine a day without it. It makes everything better. Some of my old classmates may remember me as being with Randy Huston, well we got married in 1981, had 2 children, a girl, Jessica, and a boy, Jonathan. who was quite a bit younger than me, but we hit it off so well, we got married in 1990 and we had a son, Samuel in 1992. We have been very happy and enjoy every minute we spend together, up until recently. We have run into some problems, but we are trying to reconcile our differences. Hopefully things will work out. My daughter Jessica is married and has 2 boys, but I never get to see her or her sons. Her and I were very close until she met her husband. She slowly inched her way out of my life and over the past 5 years, I have only seen her once when my dad died. She lives a life that is not acceptable to me so she stays away, and her husband has alot to do with that. My son Jonathan is engaged to a sweet girl and they have 1 son, Matthew. Heather is only my daughter in law, but she feels like my daughter. I love her dearly and we get along so well. I don`t see my grandson near enough, but at least once a week. He is three and he really makes me feel old. I realize I am 48 when I spend time with him. My son, Sam, Jamie`s son, is 16 going on 21. He is the most wonderful son anyone could ask for. As you can see, he isn`t your typical 16 yr. old. He believes in self expression, and I let him. He is a good kid, never gets into trouble or talks bad to me. We go to alot of concerts together as we like the same kind of music. I guess i never grew up in that aspect. I work at East Palestine China. I started there when I was 20 years old and only left for short period of time when they went out of business and then reopened under new management. It was good for me, because now I am the head of the decorating dept. I train newly hired decorators and turn them into the custom china decorators that we demand in this job. My 28 years experience has finally paid off. I really haven`t changed that much since 1978 other than I`m a bit heavier but alot smarter. Life has a way of setting you straight on alot of things. My family has been through alot of crap, but it has only made us stronger. You really find out how much they mean to you when things get tough. I decided to visit this site because I was interested in seeing some of my old friends again. Once you graduate and move on, everyone gets so wrapped up in their careers and families we lose touch with people. Now we are at a time in our lives we can sit back and get to know each other all over again. I look forward to talking to you.
