Daniel's Story
I worked for a year after graduation until I decided to enroll at Panhandle State. While at PSU, my life was kind of like Rudy at Notre Dame. I showed up for practice every day and practiced well against the 1st team offense every day. The head coach finally took notice which got me a little game time.
After graduation, I went back to Dalhart to contemplate my next move. I was making plans to go to graduate school at Eastern New Mexico when coach Sherrill asked me about a position at DHS. f years, but got out after a long fight with the TEA. I went back to Dalhart, and was self employed until 1991.
I felt that I needed a new lease on life so I joined the U.S. Navy during Desert Storm. It was during this time that I learned about healthcare, and it gave a big step when I got out because it led to my current occupation which is helping doctors to perform angioplasties.
I got married in 1993, and have been married to Cora for almost 15 years now. We have 3 children. Allison 12, Caitlyn 10, and Daniel Jr. 9. As an aside,
I live about 6 or 7 miles from Dorothy ( Lovato ) Roberts, and we go to the same church.
