Mary's Story
I married the love of my life, Charles Griffith, 10 May 1969 in Athens, MI. I was fortunate to go to Germany for 3 months to be with my husband before his tour in Viet Nam. Then, we traveled to Maryland and stayed there for a year. We ended up in Kentucky for 3 years before Chuck exited the Army. We moved back to MI for about 2 years. After a while, Chuck went to work for the Justice Department and we traveled to Kansas for a couple of years before moving to Lexington, KY for 5 years. st part). Chuck passed away 3 years ago. I have been working for the Air Force for the past 19 years. Love my job and enjoy time with my children and grandchildren. I have a son who lives in CO with his family and a daughter who lives here with her 2 children. I have 5 grandchildren altogether. I hope to work another 10 years before I retire. I retired 31 December 2016. I love retirement! I now have 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. The majority live here in FL, which makes it nice. I'm fortunate to enjoy good health and great family time when possible.
