Laura's Story
Since high school, I have lived in North Carolina, Oklahoma City OK, Boston MA, New Hampshire and Tampa FL. I have been back in Wallace for the last 5 years, living with my father, who still owns a convenience store in town. I had to quit work about 10 years ago; and I'll tell you...personally, not working is not all it's cracked up to be! Silly me, I'd rather be working. I always worked in Pathology in hospitals and/or private labs. I didn't get paid very much, but I truly enjoyed my work! But anyway...
Most of us were together for a long time...starting out at Wallace or Rose Hill Elementary School and then the four years at Wallace-Rose Hill High School. There are quite a few class members around still but the majority have long since moved away. I am more than willing to get things rolling but I definitely will need some help, especially with addresses and phone numbers. So, I could use any help anyone could offer! a lot of free time and every classmate I have run into here in town has started talking about when our class might have another Class Reunion, I decided that maybe first I should just see how much interest there actually is in having another reunion. So, if you get a chance, it would be greatly appreciated if you could send me a message and tell me if you might have any interest in getting together again. Also, it would be very helpful if you could send me your address and phone number as well as others from our class that you may still be in contact. Or ask others you know to log on to Classmates.com or Reunion.com and let me hear from them too. I would be grateful for any suggestions anyone might have.
