Cheri's Story
Well, I recently turned 37....yikes....I can hardly say it! I have had a great life so far. I taught Kindergarten for 11 yrs in Livonia. No, I absolutely did not get burned out. BUT, I was looking for a change....soooo....a couple of yrs ago I moved across the country and became a stockbroker for a large brokerage company in Salt Lake City. It's been a great move for me. ss working with children terribly, but this is a good move for me right now. We'll see how long it lasts. The one great thing about Utah is the climate! It is incredible. It's dry and the winters are short! I do miss the green trees, but you can't have everything. The one thing I do not miss is the failing economy in Michigan. That is what helped me make my decision to leave. I'm hoping to go back to school soon for my Master's Degree. That's the next step. Anyhow, things are good and I'm happy!
