Lori Crawford's Story

Well, I grew up in Minford. When I was 18 I married my 1st husband whom I divorced in 1990 after 9 years of a very bad marriage. In 1992 I married my current husband and we've been together for 15 years this past November. When we met both of us were drinking and doing drugs. Our lives were falling apart. The hard partyin' had left both of us feeling very disappointed in life. It seemed while we were high the party was on but when the high was gone so was the contentment. We began to discuss our situation and realized we were in too deep and didn't see any way out. I always felt like something was missing in my life and couldn't quite put my finger on the problem. That's when my mother explained to me that all of us are born with a God-shaped hole in our soul and only God can fill that void. I realize now...Expand for more
that I was trying to fill that void with everything I could get my hands on and nothing the world had to offer could fill it. We knew we needed a change and that change came in 1994 when we both gave our lives to Christ in our little alley house in New Boston. We then found a good church and began to live and I mean really live a brand new life. It feels so good to be clean and sober. Shortly after two other ladies from my church and myself formed a trio called Radiant Heart. If you want to see more you can check out our website at radiantheartministries.com. We travel all over and sing for the Lord. We have been together for 13 years and it has been so rewarding not to mention an absolute blast. My life is so full and complete since coming to Jesus. No longer do I have that empty feeling. Praise God!!!
