Ty's Story
It's a unique feeling, writing to you all again. My days as a weekly journalist for "The Coalition Newsletter" are long behind me. You were always the best audience.
Moving on, I spent a couple years in Colorado going to ASC and FLC, then moved to Las Cruces to attend NMSU. Andrew Longbotham, Chris Hail, and me purchased a home at the ripe age of 21 to save money over living on campus. It saved us just about what we thought it would over the course of the 2 years that we were there. After selling the house, I decided that my money was best spent on responsible things instead of blowing it on a college education that I was afraid wouldn't amount to anything. be graduating from college....bachelors degrees no longer carry any more weight in the job field than high school diplomas.) That said, I started as a bouncer at a pub in Las Cruces, and after a year I was made manager. It has been three years since then and I am the GM. I do about a million dollars in gross sales a year here. I'm extremely proud of the things that we've accomplished here in the last four years.
Well, enough about me. At this time I'm not inclined to pay for a subscription here, though I might another day. Unfortunately that means that I won't be reading your narratives, and I won't be able to see who has read my own. So, for now, it's back into the yonder.
