Glenn's Story
For the past 40 years I have been working in Education, from High School Teacher, Junior High Teacher and finally administration. I spent 22 years in the classroom, 12 years as Director of Technology in the Regional Office of Education for the Illinois State Board of Education. During that time I organized and managed the Role of Technology in Education Conference as an annual event with approximately 3000 attendees from all over the state of Illinois. Director of Technology for 6 years. Next I worked as an independent consultant serving Illinois school district to develop technology plans. I retired for a year and currently am working with a Middle school in Mt Prospect Illinois to train teachers and staff in appropriate uses of technology.
For relaxation I garden and spend lots a time on the lake which I live near. I have a pontoon boat which I share with a very good friend and former colleague from teaching.
I still enjoy a good imported beer.
