Cindy's Story
I am very happily married to my high school sweetheart (although he went to St. Albans). We will celebrate our 25th anniversary this June (2008)! We have 3 children, Katie 21, Caleb-17 & Luke 15. They are/will be WHS graduates also. They have had some of the same teachers that I had (Mrs. Moody, Mr. Smith, Mrs. Anderson, Coach McCoy, Mr. Oxley). Since graduating, I've had a few secretarial jobs, but since having my kids, I've been very blessed to be able to be a "stay-at-home" mom and take care of my kids. I am a cancer survivor. er, but after a couple of surgeries, 6 months of chemo, and many, many prayers, I am cancer-free! Thank God! I enjoy spending time with my family....my boys are awesome athletes. I love watching them run hurdles and play soccer. Luke also plays basketball and the guitar, and Caleb plays the drums and guitar. Our daughter is going to nursing school. I know she will be an amazing nurse someday. I love to scrapbook and get together with our friends. Over the last couple of years God has helped me "put things in perspective" and realize that each day is a gift from Him and I am very thankful for that.
