Diane's Story
Dear Friends Of The Class Of 69,
It is great to know that there is a place to go where we can meet again. I found this entry by accident, and saw familiar names like Denise Alleyne, Joy Eaves, Anna Maria Diazarango, Fran Fournier and my good friend throughout the years ArleneRoye Summersall. Since 69 so much has happened. I have a husband, Michael and a son named Sean. At the same time I got a BA from the College of New Rochelle brgan working for The NYC Department of Education went on to get my MS. in Special Ed. and taught for about 10 years got my MS in Supervision from Baruch and after 30 years retired from the DOE as Asst. Regional Director of Early Childhood in NYC.

Island and we are also the owners of The Cedarhurst Florist and Gift Shop in Hewlett Long Island. We have lived in Baldwin for the last 22 years. I would love to see you all again and am looking forward to the Bishop McDonnell Reunion on April 4th, 2009. I attended the last one held on Eastern Parkway but do not remember much about it. I remember Sr. Alice Maria and Sr. Clare Loretta. I took Latin and Spanish in the college prep. course. I would love to hear from Jaime Scolo and Barbara Whelan, and have recently tried to call Charlene Parkinson. I look forward to reading your stories. Sincerely, Diane Pankey Grannum
I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right.
