Jennifer 's Story
Well, after I graduated from NCHS, I went to Fort Hays. I graduated in 1996 and moved to Manhattan so I could work on my Master's Degree at K-State. I met my husband that same year, and we married in 1997.
In June of 1998, we moved to the St. Louis area where we lived for almost 5 years and where our son, Jacob, was born. Next we were off to the Dallas/Fort Worth area in Texas. We lived there for nearly 2 years when my husband was transfered to New Jersey.
We spent the next three years up there. We just loved it. We loved having four seasons. It is a very beautiful state once you get past Newark! Our daughter, M...Expand for more
acy, was born in Jersey. We only lived about 40 miles from NYC. The only downside was being so far from friends and family. Our kids were growing hardly knowing their grandparents so we decided to come back to Kansas.
A year ago (or June of 2008), we relocated to Kansas City, KS. My brother, sister, and parents are all here now as well. We have had many great adventures in the last 10 years, but there is no place like home.
I spend my days as a taxi/soccer mom and wouldn't trade it for the world. I married my best friend, and after eleven years of marriage, I wake up every morning and can't believe how lucky I am!
