Brent's Story
What ever happened to Jim Parks? 8th grade science teacher. That was a great class! Dont remember what i learned but we had fun.
Life is funny isnt it? Things seem to change so much after school. Everyone cant wait to get out and get on their own. But its the carefree days of school we often have the fondest memories of, at least i find this happening too often in my mind.
After high school i moved to Texas and went to technical school for a while to work on aircraft, but never turned any wrenches. Went in corporate quality control for a time. Then took a position in a small firm that moved me to Scottsdale Arizona where we took over management of a business and moved it back to Dallas/Fort Worth. In March of 1998 i went to work for Aflac insurance (self employed) and was married in June of 98. Bought our first house in 1999 where we lived for 8 years in Fort Worth TX. Had 4 boys the first of which was born in 2000 and one every 2 years after that.
BTW -- did anyone else buy a bunch of crap for Y2k in prep for the great meltdown--sheesh.
In December of '07 we finished our new house out in the country on 10 Acres. We are currently preparing for the arrival of our 5th child in September (all that pent up adolescence i guess).
I currently help people with finance strategies, money and insurnace which i find especially interesting in todays times.
