Hello, I went into the medical field, presently still working. I was married for 23 years some of that time travel with husband in USAF, then lived in Durham.I have 4 sons and 1 daughter, and 8 grandchildren(one on the way).Divroced now 13 yrs.I am very independent and blessed. Enjoying life one day at a time. I love to travel, interior decorating as hobby,love texas holdem(won first trophy last fall and going to Vegas for TOC in Oct.'09). Live in Raleigh now. Return to class reunion last year, was nice to see fellow classmates.

ge is 59. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be very old. I was so completely wrong.
I was in the first Miss Black North Carolina held in Greensboro,NC in 1970(I think was the year)one of roomates placed.
My first job was at Watts Hospital, where I got paid 400/month as a LPN. What I remember most about it was patients were lined up in beds in hall, the old elevators,and we had orderlies..
I always wanted to be a nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were right.
