I still regret that I did not make a move on Kim Leach in school. I had 2 years on the bus to do something but my shyness and severe lack of self confidence stopped me. I also wanted to ask her to the prom (both my junior and senior years), but again my shyness and lack of self confidence got in the way. Since I was pretty much a loner, I had no one to encourage me to say something to her. I have kicked myself every day since I first saw her on the bus in 1972 for not doing something. Those who don't have to deal with shyness and self-confidence don't understand how tough it can be at times, especially when you are younger.
