John's Story
My story is pretty boring,but has some humour to it.I choose to move back
to Sacramento Ca.and I worked with a Cousin painting for awhile.In May of 1980 I was working at a gas station and was shot in the left leg during a
robbery.As you can tell I survived it to celebrate my 21st birthday.
In 1982 I finally found a job at a Car
dealership and I now have over 25 years
with the Automotive Industry in the Parts Dept. I've worked with a few diff
-erent Car lines,such as Volvo, Mazda
Hyundai,and Subaru.Since I've always liked numbers it has been a decent Oc-
cupation for me to be in.
In 1986 I was married and we had our
first child on July 9/87,a girl named Sara Marie.In 1989 our son Kyle Doug-
las was born.He is a St.Patricks Day
Boy.Sara has turned out pretty good and is in College right now.She also

ves at home with her Mother.Kyle has some special needs
and was diag. with Autism is allowed to stay in school till he's 23 years old,he is non verbal and is very easy to deal with.Deborah,my girlfriend is
his provider so Kyle has lived with me
for the pass few years.
On Halloween 2007 I received news that I had Throat Cancer and went to work on 35 Radiation Treatments up through Jan/08.I was getting check-ups
every Month and in Aug/08 it came back
with alot of speed.On October 24/08 I had a Laryngectomy performed on me. I
making good progress and will be returning to work Feb/09.
As for the Diane who is wandering about who I am,I believe after checking
your year of Graduation I looking for a
different Diane.I'm very sorry about that.
Well that's a little of my first 50 years (50 as of may),I hope to see a
little more.
