Wow the years have passed so quickly , like the blink of an eye . I'm coming up on my 40th year since high school , I wasn't quite sure of getting into this forum , high school was a awkward time for me , I wasn't in with the jocks or the cool kids , just hung with my small circle of friends . We had the Vietnam war going on , the teachers strike , the Peace movement . What got me to subscribe was all the raw feelings that I still can recall when I think of the time in high school , the fun stuff and the embarrasing things . If I hurt anyones feelings I apologize , I was young and dum , trying to find myself , as I think we all were . Now let me talk about some of the fun stuff I remember . They got rid of the dress code in 70 , wow beards and sidburns , long hair . Crusing Tweedy blvd. in anything that would run .
