Terri's Story
My Life - At this time in life I know others are curious as to what has happened to those they once knew all those years ago. I have decided to share here since I didn't attend the last class reunion. When I was in high school, like everyone else I couldn't wait for it to be over so that I could move on. Sometimes now I wish I could go back & do it all over again but be the person I am now, not the girl who hid behind a facade. But we can't do that, can we? And I was joking, I really wouldn't want to go back to school. Although to be young again, I might consider! haha
On a serious note, I have something I would like to say now. I did meet one truly special person in high school & to this day I still think most highly of him. If I could say one thing to that person, I wish I could express that I sincerely appreciated him in every way, even though at the time it may have seemed otherwise. I was so young & afraid of everything, especially emotions & feelings. But things go unsaid & life goes on. Sometimes I do reflect & wish I'd said more at the time. Regrets are a part of life but the memories of a special person remain. I shall always remember in a fond way & wish the best life can offer :)

Miami area, I decided I wanted to come home to where I grew up & figure it out. The summer after graduation, I was reunited with my junior high sweetheart. We began dating in fall & were engaged that winter. We married a year later, at age 19. My oldest daughter was born when I was 21, my younger daughter at age 24. I now have two granddaughters, ages 10 & 2. Being a grandma is so much fun, I just love it!!!
I am surprised how fast the years have gone by. When I think of class reunions, it certainly makes me think much about life & how things turned out. Best wishes to those in my graduating class of 1978 celebrating 33 years :)

Music - Classical, Soul, Ballads
A lil of this & that, pretty much anything! Music is the way to express one's soul & is always appreciated. I cannot imagine life without music!

Movies - Such a nice escape. To me, a movie is much like someone's visual image interpretation to reading a book, so it's interesting to see their point of view. I think I am a tough critic, so I mostly prefer movies that move me deeply, ones that make me feel a better person for having viewed them. Then there are the funny ones, haha, need I say more? Laughter is the best medicine ;-)

Television - Usually what anyone else is watching. I guess I'm not much of a tv fan, haha.
