Cindy's Story
I left PEI in 1988 for Halifax where I spent 5 years going back to school and meeting my husband who is also from the Island. Rick is in the Air Force and in 1993 after having two children, Emma and Jonathan, we got a transfer to Greenwood. Over the twelve years we were their we had two more wonderful children, Heidi and Brody. Yes I have four children with my oldest graduating from high school this year!! Crazy thought. job and have seen alot of the world the last 5 years. I done a tour overseas for 6 months and the family survived very well. Our children are very use to the military life. In 2005 after 17 years of living in NS we got a transfer to Winnipeg and it is wonderful (otherthan the COLD winters). We enjoy it here. I have ran into lots of old friends through the military and it is funny how things work out. Some day we hope to possibly retire on the Island but it will all depend on where my children are at the time!!! Life it good!!!!
