Deangela's Story
Hello Class of 1989...
Man the years went by fast... I can remember some things as if they just happened. Its funny to me how I used to wish to grow up, graduate and leave Vivian, and now I find myself missing home like crazy. I married my husband in 1996 and moved to Ft. Campbell, KY... then onto Schofield Barracks, HI.... then onto Ft. Polk, La and now we reside in Baumholder, Germany. I love the life I am presently living. It has afforded me to do things that I could only think of doing. It is nothing to hop on a train and head to Paris for a day of shopping or to visit ancient roman ruins about 45 minutes from my home. Tne military has blessed my family and I to live our life to the fullest and we are taking advantage of it. I have a son about to GRADUATE in the class of 2009...Expand for more
and my daughter follows in 2011. My son will be attending LA Tech, in the fall of 2009 majoring in web design/photography. He has skills, I have to give it to him, not just because he is my son, but because he does have the talent. My daughter has aspirations of becoming a licensed cosmetologist/business owner.
I currently am a certified passport agent, working for the department of the Army; still striving to complete my accounting degree (Imma finish one day, just lazy and busy). I am the proud wife of SFC Gentry T. Walker, who is currently serving his country in Iraq (for the 3rd time). Please remember to pray for our troops and their families. I have kept you long enough, if you feel like dropping a line, go ahead and do so... It would be good to hear from old friends.
