Chris's Story
Hah...this may be the greatest joke I've ever played on myself. The friends I left behind when leaving Antioch High School total an outstanding zero, though looking back I must admit that it is as much my own fault as anyone else's. I was a difficult person to get along with, either by design or misconception I have never been sure.
There are some people I remember with fondness from the school daze and reading through the list of names here has brought more than one smile to my face, equally rueful and genuine. I often wonder how many remember me, and of course what those memories entail.

n I was a first-wave Internet junky, finding it easier to relate to people in chat rooms and bulletin boards than in a classroom or study hall. Since I found myself staring at a computer all day, every day anyway I manicured a talent for programming, hardware repair and networking technology.
I now spend my days floating between the three, taking whatever job may come my way in the technology field. I fluctuate between moderate wealth and utter destitution, having never been one for stability and forward thinking. Every few years, when the stress becomes too great I disappear for six months with a bottle of scotch, my guitar and a diary to embark on more eccentric pursuits.
