Margo's Story

hi folks. for the past several years i have been in Northwest Missouri. You ask how did I get here? well my oldest son Bert (33), married a girl from up here and had kids. So, in order to see my grandkids grow up, it was easier for me to move here. Besides my husband at the time was very ill, cancer, heart problems, etc...) and the generall consensus was that if he died I would be there alone as the rest of my family had died or moved. So, here I am. Well as you would guess things change so my house is now up for sale. The brutal winters here are too much for this Texas gal. So hopefully I will get to come back to a warmer clime. At any rate I digress. I have 4 grown kids and 2 grandkids. I like to cook competition chili for charity and have gotten pretty good at i. aafter high school I waited awhile and then went ...Expand for more
back to college. In the end I earned 3 college degrees. I worked for the State of Texas, as a rehabilitation counselor (always for the underdog) and then retied early. I worked for awhile in my second career as a restaurant manager, but got hurt really bad and became disabled. (How annoying). Not being the quitter, I still give it all I have. We rebuilt a hundred year old farm house in the country and have an awesome yard and garden. I have been fortunate enough to get to travel alot and have a great 5th wheel that I get to tool around the countryside in when not at home. Since life is always an adventure I feel that I will go until I croak. Anyone else into the same or similar stuff? At any rate I always knew high school typing would come in handy some day so I could write to whoever decides to contact me. Gotta go
