Donna's Story
I'm a contributing editor at Inc. Magazine and the author of Alpha Dogs: How Your Small Business Can Become a Leader of the Pack (Collins, 2005). I'm currently working on a second book about young entrepreneurs for McGraw Hill. I'm also a keynote public speaker, a blogger on Inc.com, community leader on Work.com, and a featured expert on SBTV.com.

h my husband, Guian Heintzen. We have two children, Ariana (a sophomore at Tulane) and Erich (a senior in HS and just accepted to Cornell for next year).
My parents are still in Housatonic and we also have a second home in Canaan, NY, so I'm back in the Berkshires relatively frequently. We hope to move back there semi-permanently once the kids are settled into their own lives. I've lived in and traveled to lots of interesting and exotic places but my heart is in the Berkshires.
