Jean's Story
When I left high school I worked full-time for awhile then, well I'll jump to the part where I had two beautiful children, Michael (23) and Amanda (21) who have always been the bright spot of my life.
Jump ahead, again, to 2005 when I got re-married to a remarkable man. I met him when I took my daughter to his AAU girls basketball tryout in Detroit. I prayed to find a man to love me and my children and one who liked sports and going to all the activities. Low and behold I got the coach and club owner who we have to keep up with! He is a retired school teacher who coaches girls varsity basketball, runs an AAU girls basketball club and coaches within the club and I am proud to say he has helped everyone of his players in AAU get a college ...Expand for more
scholarship and also has three previous players in the WNBA. We also run several girls basketball tourneys every year. He loves my children and brought three more children to my life to love, Kelli (29), Kim (24), and Kevin (21), and now we have a brand new granddaughter.
I work part-time for our businesses, along with b-ball we have a vending business. I also teach part-time at a private school and will be babysitting for my new granddaughter.
We live in Sterling Heights in a wonderful home, besides the sporting events we love to travel (Hawaii was our honeymoon), go to a ton of concerts, party with our kids, workout, garden and enjoy just spending time with eachother! I would never go back to Bay City, I found my best friend and home!
