Well, just about come full circle more or less... graduated high school in '73, at 17. When I turned 18 in August, I got a "real job" in a factory. After some disappointing tries, met the man of my dreams August 31, 1975. We were married June of 1976, had a daughter born in 1977 and a son born in 1978. Moved around a lot, Evansville, Folsomville, Boonville, Florida, Poseyville (rural), St. Wendel, Florida two more times, Folsomville a few more times... Bought the farm in Folsomville in 1984, our old farm house burned in 1986... My marriage relationship fell back n forth between very good, and very rocky... life became a crazy roller coaster ride... did I mention I'm not crazy about roller coasters? Well, at least I'd like to pick the ride, LOL.
Anyway... worked a few different places for a while, stayed home in between. I loved being a mother and housewife. Always thought I would have liked to had 4 kids. As it is, I'm sure it was for the best that we stopped at two. Worked at the Boonville Standard for a few months, went to team driving a rig over the road with my husband for almost 5 years... came off road n worked a few other places, finally ending up at Trinity Theological Seminary in Newburgh for 7 1/2 years. helping my daughter with her kids. I am now divorced, as of May 2010...
Proud grandma of 3 beautiful children from my daughter, Spring. Kian is brilliant and handsome, will be 16 in August. Aidan is brilliant and handsome, he will be 11 in November. Liah is brilliant and beautiful, will be 4 in
October. Spring has been in the US Coast Guard since 2005, presently in a relationship with another "coastie" and stationed in VA. My son, Steven is in Owensboro now, having moved back into the area from Tennessee, and getting ready to get his life on track. I am so very proud of both my children. Since I returned from North Carolina in November of 2009, I have been earnestly endeavering to get MY life back on track... it's been a ride, with only light at the end of the tunnel, and I'm finally getting ready to step out of the tunnel altogether, and into the sunshine. Thank God! Anyway, my plan is to find out what God wants me to do and get at it. In the meantime, I hope to freelance some type of work, (either photojournalism or landscape maintenance or both). I've been making jewelry which is starting to sell nicely. Mother was killed in a car wreck Feb. 7, 2006, and he was living there alone, I'm back at the homeplace in Poseyville/St. Wendel now with my dad...Which brings me back to the "full circle" comment...
