Lynn's Story
Would like my old friends to remember me as someone worth remembering!
I was quiet and shy...if anyone remembers anything to the contrary...shhhh...lol! Changed alot since those days...love meeting new people and reaquainting with old friends..and try always to live my life with a passion.
After college, I moved to New York City and worked for American Airlines and then moved back to Seattle and worked for Delta Air Lines. Had some great years traveling to the South Pacific, Mexico, various parts of the U.S., Great Britain, etc. and made some terrific lifelong friends. Worked 8 years for Paccar, Inc., Bellevue, WA (Kenworth/Peterbilt trucks, etc.) in Internal Audit and Mgmt Dev & Training...and as the wheel turns, moved back to Skagit Valley.
I've been divorced for many years and have a beautiful daughter Vanessa who is a hair designer in Anacortes. I love her dearly and enjoy her personality, humor and spirit!
Two jobs take up most, not all, of my time...20 years as Human Resource Manager at Sugiyo U.S.A., and 12 years in administration at Windermere Real Estate,...Expand for more
both in Anacortes. The last five years I've decided to start living again (you know, take a day off here and there!) dating, traveling.
I love life and wish I could live forever...there are so many adventures left to experience, so many more things to learn. I am a passionate, genuine, caring and confident person and own a subtle sense of humor - love to laugh! I immerse myself in gourmet cooking and food design. I love muscle cars (have a mustang), photography, long drives, good music (classic rock 'n roll), looking at the stars, walking by the ocean, the arts, wood carving, target practice, animals - 2 cats and 1 Akita dog - massages, all of the spa "feel goods" and reading fiction. I'm intrigued by the unknown and still blush on occasion!
For the past 15 years I've lived by the Samish River, in Skagit Valley - for those from Edison, by the old swimming hole - in a Victorian farmhouse with a stunning view of Mt. Baker and "wild kingdom" at night (coyotes, raccoons, otters, eagles, etc.) after all, home is home...
Hope to "reacquaint" with old friends again soon!
