Elizabeth's Story
Left Alaska for college after graduation, Washington State and received a BA from PLU. After working in Seattle for a few years I went to Baltimore MD and Johns Hopkins University and got a PhD in Biochemistry. I did a post doc in Washington DC for a few years and then moved to Boston for work/family.
Escaped Massachusettes after what seemed an eternity but was in fact only 4 years and moved to Louisiana to live with my family on our sailboat for for several years.

nded a tecnical writing and E-learning business and my husband went to medical school. Then came Katrina and..... So now that the rebuild is over and medical school is getting ready to wrap up for Mark we are entering a new transition period.
Everytime I go home to Alaska I am reminded about how much I miss that gorgeous environment. It is still the most beautiful place in the world. I really like Louisiana, the sun the heat...... But miss the bigness and wonder of Alaska.
