After I graduated HS I went to GVSU and got a degree in English and Biology and then completed the school of education. I currently live in West Michigan with my fabulous husband and darling 12 month old son, Elliott. I teach at a high school and am writing a thesis for my masters of Literature in English, which I should complete very shortly. I've been writing it for nearly 3 years now and I'm ready to get rid of it. It's on post-apartheid South African fiction. I don't really play music or sing anymore, unless you count the car, where I am known to belt out whatever's on the stereo. I listen to it a lot, though, and have fallen in love with late nineties brit / indie rock. I prefer the internet to the TV, though I watch LOST and the Sopranos.
