Virginia's Story
Brief Summary --
Moved to Independence, Mo and married in 1961, worked for an insurance company, had a daughter; moved to Hot Springs AR in 1966. Had a son in 1971
and worked in the medical field until going to work for the federal government in 1979 where I worked until retiring on December 31, 2006. Married former classmate, Carol Wolford in 1992, after we became reacquainted at the 1990 school reunion and discovered we both were single.
Moved back to Franklin in May, 2007. Together, we have four wonderful children, five grandchildren, and one great granddaughter. My children, Carla and Lyndel live in Houston,Texas and Seattle, Washington, respectively.

NR1 (the sub in the movie "Jaws") nuclear submarine. Scottie and Kevin both live here in Franklin and they are the 'proud'(?) recepients of all sorts of free and unsolicited advice.
Now that I've retired, there is never enough time or energy to do all the things that I wanted to do (read, travel, scrapbooking, sewing), need to do (finish unpacking, redecorating, exercising, losing weight), and have to do (laundry, canning, cooking, cleaning, paying bills). Had always heard that retirement was a busy time, now I agree! Just not as much stress!(?)or a different kind.
Carol and I have enjoyed following the Izard County Cougars basketball team and were fortunate to attend every game in 2007-08, including their winning the State Championship game in Hot Springs. Just shows that everything changes with time, even Coyotes can become Cougars.
