Darlene's Story
My husband, son and I live in Rockville Maryland - about 30 minutes outside of DC. I really like the area and the hustle and bustle. I work for the federal government with the National Institutes of Health as an Administrative Officer. I love my job and the people that I work with.
One of my favorite things to do is to sit on my back porch with my husband and my dogs and relax after a hard day at work.
My daughter is married and lives in Los Angeles, CA - she works for a cosmeceutical company. In some of her past jobs she was on the Kimora Lee Simmons show, and has been on several talk shows and in multiple magazines promoting her business. Her husband does post production sound on movies and commercials and between the both of them I keep the latest scoop on all the movie stars. ly and they say that she is my "grandpuppy" - that thing is beyond spoiled - but she is a very loving puppy dog.
My son lives at home right now and works for the same company my husband does. He is a maintenance technician for a property near our home. He loves his work and is following in his dads footsteps.
My husband and I also have reconnected with his son from his first marriage and we discovered that we are in fact grandparents of a 11 year old boy name Keith III and a 4 year old girl name Maria and new baby girl born on May 25th named Addison. We are very excited to have Keith and his wife Katherine and all the grandbabies in our life and look forward to new experiences and all the love and hugs and kisses from the kids.
My husband and I like to do home remodeling projects, fish, hiking, work in the backyard, and just relaxing on the screened in back porch that we built. Especially on rainy days we love to take naps out there.
