Amy's Story
I spent four years at UWEC and graduated with a degree in English Lit and a minor in print journalism.
The day before I graduated I was offered a job as an editorial assistant at a small book publishing company in Osceola, Wisconsin. I've moved up the ranks a few notches and the office has moved a few times since (recently moved to downtown Minneapolis), but I've been with the same company for over 9 years.
I'm currently an acquisitions editor with the Voyageur Press imprint and focus on rural/agricultural titles. I never knew my farm background would lead me to contracting and editing books about...Expand for more

I live in River Falls, which was nice when my office was located in St. Paul, but I love the town too much to leave. I take an express bus to Mpls from Oakdale so I am able to read while someone else does the driving!
I volunteer at the River Falls public library and am very involved with the activities there and around town.
I love working out and take a variety of classes at the Y. I bought a new bike this spring and absolutely love it. I have spent a lot of time on the Red Cedar Trail this summer!
I am pretty much the same Amy G. from high school, except more outspoken.
