Deborah's Story
Well, for all those who wonder, "What ever happen to Deborah Jackson?", wonder no more.
I am doing well. God has truely been good to me. I am now retired from the City of Oakland after 28 years and 5 years wth PG&E. I have 2 children, Akilah Moore, age 33, William Quebec, age 29 and a step son, Lil Ernie, age 24. 4 Grandchildren (maybe 5 not sure). My daughter has 3, and she is a Professor of Math at Los Mendanos College in Antioch. One son, Quebec is a drummer and travels alot and the other lives in Washington D.C. working at a hospital and trying to decide what he wants to do, leaning toward the fire department like his father. s my second marriage and I am so very happy and the nest is empty. I work part time at my church, Shiloh in Oakland. I enjoy it so much! I am in contact with Ruby Givens, Cathy Venters and Valerie Chambers (same church).
I missed the last reunion, but hope that oneday we will all have an opportunity to get together again at least one more time.
I live in Oakland, but after high school I moved to Texas for one year and couldn't handle it. So back to Oakland I fled. I have had a very interesting life, but all in all, I would not trade places with anyone. I learned from my mistake and was able to make better decision concerning my life.
