Rachelle's Story
Wow, seems like a lifetime since High School. I married at 18 and remained married for 10 years. Unfortunately, that marriage did not last for obvious reasons (I married at 18)! I basically pursued many things throughout my early twenties from medical transcription to business management. In the year of 2000 when I was almost finished with my bachelor's degree in business, I asked God what he wanted me to do with my life. The answer was not favorable but I followed and have not regretted the decision to do so. He had me backtrack a year in my degree attainment to pursue a psychology route. sychology. I have been working as a psychotherapist since that time. Almost two years ago I started teaching as an adjunct professor at Southwestern Christian University as well. It is a complete joy to me. I love to teach!
I recently had a my first child, a son, William. He is now 6 months old. I remarried in April of 2007 to a gentleman named Philip who works as a youth minister.
Recently, God called me back to school so I will be working on my doctorate degree in theology. I should graduate from Oral Robert's University in about a year and a half God-willing.
God has been very good to me. I thank Him every day for His divine blessings upon my life.
