Jill's Story

So A Brief rundown of the years: So as a teenager I was skipping school, using lots of drugs, in and out of juvy, and girls homes until I was 18. I went to many schools including Squaw Peak Elementary, Creighton Middle School, Camelback, North, Alhambra, and others that I enrolled in but never went to. When I was 17 I received my GED through a program offered at the girls home that I was in at that time. When I was released from custody of the court at 18, I hadn't learned my lesson and kept doing the same old things;ie doing drugs and running away from my problems. ep a job for more than 6 mos. and moved all the time. Then I became a truck Driver at age 21 and my life started to turn around, then I got Ashlyn Mae (my doggie) and I learned responsiblity. When I was 25 I met Tanaz (my partner) and then I learned about relationships and equality in them. Since then I have just been Driving Truck consistantly, going to college when I am in town, and trying to forgive myself and others for what we have done. I may not have been the best person in my life, but am realizing now that I am 30 that I don't have to hang on to the bad stuff. Oh and for the rumors that I am dead in some way or another, I am not!
