Kathleen's Story
Hi, Everyone!!! Long time no talk to! Well, this is my profile. After high school, I attended Seton Hall University-School of Nursing for a year. After that, I pursued many different types of careers in both business and accounting. At the age of 19, I joined the South Orange Rescue Squad and have been a volunteer National Registry EMT-D and an American Red Cross Disaster Responder for over 25 years. I was in Bound Brook at the time of the flood during the hurricane in 1998 and I was also there during September 11th. I absolutely love working in the emergency medical field and helping others in need. I am currently disabled with knee problems and am looking for some part-time work in South Orange. I live right by the VA Hospital on the South Orange and Orange border. I am divorced and have a daughter named Rose who is now 15 years old. I still attend OLS regularly and my p...Expand for more
arents still live in the same house. I love to sing and have sang for the OLS Choir a few times in the past. I love singing and i hope to one day be famous. I also love dancing, hiking, and all other kinds of outdoor and sports activities but due to my disability I don't do as much as I would like to but I still enjoy some of it. I refuse to let my disability stop me. Well, let's see. My brother and sisters are all doing well and I am the proud aunt of two boys-Sean,16 years old and Peter, 14 years old both living in South Carolina and well, I am just doing fine. With my ability to start working again a little bit I am looking forward to getting back to all my volunteer activities and some of my other activities and hobbies. I am very glad to be able to share with you what I've been up to in the last 30 odd years or so and have missed everyone. It's is good to be home!!!
