Brenda's Story
After Tidewater Academy, I went to Bob Jones University in Greenville, S.C. After college I went to work for Bank of Virginia. I got married had two children. After 7 years, I divorced. Stayed single for 14 years. During those 14 years,
I was offered a large role in a little theater and took it. Then was offered a leading roll in the next play but was unable to take it due to an offer I could not refuse by an independent insurance agent in Richmond Va. Stayed with them for 2 years. Then I was offered a sales position with a fortune 500 Company. I was the only woman in this company in the sales position. This was a position that I truly loved. fice. With-in four years I was promoted to train for a district managers position. I worked for this company for seven years. There is a book in process of being written of my life with this company. The name of this book will be called "Giant Corporate Killer. On the cover there will be a picture of a small woman in a pin-stripe suit with a sling shot against a giant man in a pin stripe suit. This is a true story, my story . This will be written with a humorous slant so it will not appear to be such a tragedy. It was an experience of a lifetime. Came back to Virginia Beach. I remarried . my new husband opened own business and did very well for the next ten years. Divorced after 17 years.
