Nichole's Story
Holy cow, this will be fun. I was such a dork back in high school. Well I was engaged in high school and it turned out like everyone said it would, DISASTER!! So to all of you said I was dumb, you can say I told you so. It's cool. I know now how stupid I was. LOL. I went to school for a bit but life happened and I had to drop out. So I got lucky and got hired in as a Pharmacy Tech at CVS and put school on hold for a while. I loved that job, but the pay sucked.
Ok, I have made a few changes since I created this profile. Those of you who read this before saw that I was in Cosmetology school. Well not anymore. I tried it and it just wasn't for me. So now I am going back to what I was studying a few years ago. And thats Criminal Justice. I just didnt have the passion for beauty school. And when I was studying Criminal Justice, I really had something with it. So thats where I'm at now.
And I am a newly wed. I have been with Chris for almost 3 years and we just tied the knot on August 23rd. I don't have any kids yet. Thats next.
I really haven't changed much. I am still the same dork you all knew. Maybe not as bad as I once was. I don't stare at the ground when I walk anymore. I still don't know why I did that. Who knows. And I know most you of remember me as that whiny kid wh...Expand for more
o always cried. I can see now how I got picked on for crying. I finally have the attitude to just let things roll off my back and not care. It took me long enough. But hey people change.
I thought I would always be that geek. But in the last few years I have met pepole and things I have gone through in my life that made me realize I wasn't always going to be that big geek.
And having married into a family whose obsessions are football and Star Wars,so my interests have changed quite significantly. I am not as big as Star Wars fans as they are. Every Saturday and Sunday it's all football all day. Which is fine with me. I get into it as much as my husband does. Although when the Texas Longhorns (his home state and team) are playing badly I have to hose him down so he doesn't throw things at the t.v. It gets very crazy in my family during football season. They all bust my chops cause I am a Purdue fan. Ah well it makes for fun arguments.
Right now my husband and I are talking about moving to somewhere other than here. Hopefully with a couple kids running around. I would also like to be working in the Juvinile Probabtion department somewhere. Chris wants to move back to Texas where he's from, so who knows maybe in 10 years thats where we could be. Anything is possible.
