Liz's Story

I retired from the phone company in 2011 after working there for 36 years (transferred to Phoenix in 1991). Then worked part-time for Tyson Foods until May 2018 when I retired completely. I sold my house and most of my belongings and moved to Playa del Carmen, Mexico with 4 suitcases and my dog Cassie. Plans are to live cheap and do lots of travel which is my passion! Chris, was born in 1980. Next was Nick in 1992. He was diagnosed with leukemia in 1996. Chemo saved him that time, but when the cancer returned in 2005 chemo didn't work and Nick passed away on 1/24/06. His passing completely changed my life and I will forever miss him. Enjoy going back to Bellevue for reunions and still keep in touch with lots of old high school friends. Life is good.
