Ann's Story
It is hard to believe it has been 40 years since high school. Since then
I have taken courses in college for computer science and attended corporate training. As with many of our friends we have had a number of jobs due to outsourcing. My last career, I hope, and the one I love the most is massage therapy. I decided after the last outsourcing to take the severance and try something different. I have been a massage therapist for 13 years. I work for a facility owned by Hunterdon Medical Center as well as a continuous care facility in Bridgewater. I have a private practice and travel to some of my clients homes. Unfortunately, I work on so many people during the week, my husband Jeff rarely receives

I continue to attend classes to learn new modalities and keep up my ceus.
I love the work and the people whose paths I have crossed in my career. I am still working and hope to do so - as long as the body can hold up. I have been married to Jeff for 26 years. He is a food chemist and does photography on the side. He has had some gallery showings and although I am prejudice, his photographs are beautiful. We don't have children, just three spoiled cats named Sophie, Maggie and Katie. Maggie and Sophie were adopted from a shelter four years ago and Katie was found on the streets abandoned by her owner two months ago. They are kind enough to let us share their home.
