Dana's Story
After graduating from West Deptford HS in 1981, I joined the U.S. Army and eventually made my way out to Northern California where I lived from 1986 until 2013. In 2013, I retired from a 24 yr. career with the Santa Clara County sheriff's office then moved to Orange county in southern California. I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT HERE!!! I'm married for the second time to a very funny man who keeps me amused and entertained often. I am proud and delighted to have an amazing daughter, 3 incredible sons, and a lovely step daughter ( all but 1 are grown and living on their own) My darling daughter and awesome son in law had their first baby in 2013 which was another highlight of my life. I really enjoy being a mom and a "grammy." My adorable grandson Braxton keeps me busy and young. I get to help take care of him quite often while his parents work. ound. I strive to stay active and in shape. I enjoy a little traveling, cooking and turning old recipes into newer healthier versions, writing, water color painting and being creative and artistic in my spare time. I attend classes at The School of Multidimensional Healing Arts and Sciences and at the community college near by seeking to be a life coach and Holistic Practitioner as my second career path. I'm happier than I've been in years, never afraid to laugh out loud and find ways to do so often! I've always believed it's important to look for the positive and maintain a sense of humor about life. Despite my past career choice and the things I've seen or endured the last 52 years of my life, I always try to find the best in every part of life and be grateful and humble.
